During your online therapy session, you will log on to a secure video platform and talk to your autism therapist. Your therapist will give you safe space to explore you identity, support you in understanding your needs and feelings better, and help you process your challenging life experience and relationships. All of our therapists are specialists in autism and understand the unique sensitivities and traumas experienced by autistic folks. We are here to help you find more inner balance, confidence, self-compassion, and to develop better relationships you life. During our sessions, you will also learn how to advocate for yourself and your needs.
Online therapy for Autism Parents and Caregivers:
Our autism therapists offer online appointments for parents and caregivers to discuss your child’s unique needs as a teen or young adult on the autism spectrum. Your child may have more subtle autistic traits, performed well academically, and even received a later diagnosis because of this. As autism experts, we understand the unique challenges you may be facing as you navigate autism parenting. So, our parent counseling is very individualized. Ultimately, our goal is to help you meet your goals for yourself as a parent or for your family as a whole.
Online Autism Parent Support Group:
Our online autism parent support group was founded to provide parents of neurodiverse teens or young adults a safe online space to discuss their parenting challenges and successes. During this group, we discuss parenting strategies to help you communicate and connect with your autistic child.
Online Group Therapy for Autism
We offer a variety of online groups for teens and adults with autism. Our neurodiverse-affirming groups are designed to work on three main components: social confidence and communication, coping with stress and anxiety, and self-advocacy.
Currently, we are offering the following Groups Online:
Gifted Teen with Autism and Caregiver Group:
This group is for neurodiverse teens and their caregivers. We meet separately so the teens have their own space to discuss the things that are important to them and learn useful skills, while caregivers are given their own space to discuss topics that are relevant to them.
Online Summer College Transition Group:
This is a very unique group that allows autistic students who are transitioning to college in the fall the opportunity to learn valuable skills. The goal is to improve their success as they adjust to college life and academics.
This group is designed to meet the needs of neurodiverse college students as they deal with the demands of their college education and navigate the social scene on campus.
The young adults group is for autistic adults. This group was designed for individuals who are beginning their independent lives.
The working professionals’ group was created to meet the unique needs of autistic adults. This group helps them as they navigate workplace dynamics (either at their office or online) and other relationship dynamics.
This group discusses the challenges many neurodiverse women face at work, in the community, and in their personal lives. The group provides peer support, for you to be heard and validated by other autistic women who get you.

Our Online Individual Therapy Services range in cost and length of time for each client we see. These are available throughout the state of California, no matter where you live! For more information contact our office.
Duration:
Fall/Spring Groups:
Our Online College Group, Young Adults Group, Working Professionals Group, Gifted Teens and Caregivers Group, and Women’s Group all run from August- December (fall term) and January- May (spring term). You can choose to join us for either the fall or the spring term, or you can join us for both!
Summer Program:
Our Online Summer College Transition Group lasts for 5 weeks beginning in June.
Cost:
Online College Group, Young Adults Group, Working Professionals Group, Women’s Group, LGBTQIA+ Group, Parent Group: $150 per session
Our Online Summer College Transition Group costs $2000.

Can you meet with me if I live outside California?
As therapists, we are only licensed to see clients who live in the states of California or Illinois.
Can you effectively learn and practice skills online?
Yes, although it is a bit different! We are proud to report that our clients have made progress in learning and using the skills we teach after meeting with us online. In fact, it can be easier to read facial cues and body language on the computer because you have a closer view of the other person’s face.
Do I need to have specific software to participate in online autism therapy?
No. We use a more secure form of Zoom for group therapy. This platform is HIPPA compliant. So, your privacy is protected. Prior to meeting with your therapist or your group, you will be emailed a link to your therapy session. All you need to do is log in. Then, you’ll be ready for therapy!
Are you able to form intimate connections with your clients and/or group participants online?
Absolutely! Making connections with your peers is still possible on a virtual platform. meeting on a virtual platform. In fact, sometimes, we are able to gain even more insight into our client’s lives because we are able to meet with them from the comfort of their homes. This allows them to share aspects of their life with us that they would otherwise be unable to. For example, many participants find great comfort from their relationships with their pets. We are able to meet their furry friends when we have online sessions or group meetings.
