I’m often lonely.
Sometimes, I feel like no one understands me.
I want to make more friends, but it is hard for me. I’m having a lot of social anxiety.
I want to meet other people who can relate to what it’s like to be a young adult on the autism spectrum.”
Life after graduating from college can be a challenge. Especially for individuals navigating their path as independent millennials on the autism spectrum. Starting a new career and taking the next steps in life can feel overwhelming. It’s natural to miss the routine and structure that an academic setting provides. It’s okay to feel anxious about the changes and uncertainties that come with post-college life.
Meet Other Autistic Young Adults Who Can Relate to Your Struggles
Being a young adult on the autism spectrum can present unique challenges. The way you relate to the world may be different from your peers, which can sometimes make you feel isolated. You’re eager to acquire new skills and tools that can empower you in both professional and social settings, enabling you to succeed and feel confident in your everyday life.
